<p>Our Client, the largest coal fired power station in the UK, is looking to appoint a Lead Mechanical Engineer.&nbsp;</p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p>The Lead Engineer is responsible for preserving the asset, minimising costs and above all delivering an engineering and maintenance strategy that supports the long term commercial and operating strategy for their plant area. <p>Our Client is looking to appoint an Executive Assistant to their Managing Director. The role encompasses providing an efficient and effective personal support service to the Managing Director, in the delivering and development of the Company's Business Strategy, to achieve defined business goals in line with its vision and values.</p>
<p>To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Managing Directors office, presenting an example to the rest of the organisation.</p>
<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p>

<li>Provide a confidential, efficient and effective personal support service to the Managing Director to support the delivery of their objectives and provide an interface for key stakeholders from both inside and outside of the industry. 
<li>To efficiently maintain the Managing Director&rsquo;s diary to ensure maximum effectiveness of time available.

<li>Manage the organisation of both internal and external meetings and draft, co–ordinate, format and proof read as necessary reports, presentations, board and other necessary papers. 
<li>Maintain personal contact on the Directors&rsquo; behalf, developing and maintaining effective working relationships, with Chief Executives, Managing Directors, Chairmen and other principle officers both inside and outside of the Company and its subsidiaries. 
<li>Manage an effective filing system including &lsquo;bring forward&rsquo; items 
<li>Arrange all travel and hotel requirements and produce full itineraries for all out of office trips. 
<li>Check and arrange authorisation of invoices including appropriate aspects of EBIS system. 
<li>Effectively manage the holidays and sickness of those reporting directly to the Managing Director, including the necessary aspects of Cascade. 
<li>Ensure adequate and competent resource is available to cover holiday and sickness eventualities and provide support to other Directors as appropriate.

<p class="MsoNormal">The Asset Management team is responsible for delivering excellent plant performance and efficiency through engineering and maintenance strategies, together with ensuring full compliance with agreed safety and environmental performance standards and expectations. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">An opportunity exists within the Asset Management department at Eggborough power station for a Rotating Plant Engineer to provide focus and leadership in all aspects of large rotating plant integrity through the development and implementation of an effective maintenance strategy. </p>
